RAWLINS — The BLM’s Rawlins Field Office has released a Determination of NEPA Adequacy (DNA) for the Jack Sparrow Supplemental 1 POD. The release of the DNA also begins a public comment period which will close on May 13, 2016. The DNA confirms that the original Environmental Assessment, signed September 2011, adequately analyzed the proposed project.
The DNA and Environmental Assessment are available for review at this link.
The DNA addresses five coal-bed methane natural gas well pads, access roads, pipelines and utility corridors situated approximately 27 miles northeast of Baggs, Wyoming.
Warren E&P Inc. wells would be located within the Spyglass Hill Federal Unit in the Atlantic Rim Natural Gas Development Project area in Carbon County, Wyoming.
Written comments will be accepted until May 13, 2016 and should be emailed to BLM_WY_AtlanticRim@blm.gov. To ensure comments are considered please include “Jack Sparrow Comment” in the subject line.
