MARCH 9 – EXPEDITION ISLAND PAVILION, GREEN RIVER
DOORS OPEN @ 5PM/FILM STARTS @7PM

The Fly Fishing Film Tour will be shown in the middle of the mighty Green River on Expedition Island on Friday March 9. The doors will open at 5pm and the film will begin at 7pm. There will be raffles, games and drawings that will feature chances to win a guided float and wading trips, artwork by Zach Even, KULA coolers, Redington fly rod/reel combo, fly boxes full of flies and much more.

Dancin’ Dog Food Truck will be there to serve up tasty gourmet hot dogs and more.

The original and preeminent exhibition of fly fishing cinema, the F3T is a one of a kind experience. Each year fishy folk of all ages gather in big cities and small towns alike to soak up films from around the world, spin a few yarns amongst friends and dream about casts yet unmade.

2018 marks The F3T’s 12th annual adventure that will make its way to theaters in more than 175 cities in eight countries. This year’s lineup of films…would blow the doors off a ’78 Buick. With an emphasis on the stories, characters and fisheries that help make up the vast world of fly fishing, the 2018 F3T will take you from Michigan to Honduras, from Wyoming to Greenland, from the mind of child to the heart of a musician, from the edge of your seat to the end of the earth and back!

In addition to showcasing world-class fly fishing films, The F3T is dedicated to supporting the local fly shops and conservation groups that form the backbone of our sport’s educational and environmental efforts. Discount F3T tickets are available at more than 150 fly shops across the country. A portion of those ticket sales go directly to support the conservation work that keeps our favorite fisheries intact, healthy and available for us all to enjoy. In 2017 F3T events raised over $500,000 for conservation and fishing-related charities. In addition to fundraising, we’re dedicated to providing a platform that builds awareness and support of groups that Trout Unlimited, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, Wild Steelhead Coalition, Bonefish Tarpon Trust, Utah Stream Access Coalition, Stop Pebble Mine and many more.

“The Seedskadee Chapter is looking forward to another great F3T this year.  Being the 5th year, we are glad to have the continued support from outdoors men and women from Sweetwater County and southwest Wyoming. This year we have some awesome prizes to raffle off. All the proceeds will go towards improving southwest Wyoming’s cold water fisheries. Come support your local fisheries and enjoy some great films to get you ready for the warmer weather fishing season.
