ROCK SPRINGS — The Rock Springs Police Protective Agency will square off against the Rock Springs Firefighters Local 1499 in the second Guns vs. Hoses basketball game.

The game starts at 7 p.m. on Saturday, December 10th at the Western Wyoming Community College Rushmore Gym.

The Police Protective Agency is collecting non-perishable food items for the Food Bank of Sweetwater County. The Rock Spings Firefighters Local 1499 is collecting toys for their Toys for Kids program.

According to Rock Springs Fire Department Captain Dominic Erramouspe, it was successful enough last year to do another one and “it was so much fun.”

They found a larger venue this year at the college because last year’s game was standing room only.

The two groups compete to take home a traveling trophy.

The “guns” won last year, but “the trophy will have a new home this year,” said Erramouspe.
