Green River Police Department Makes Arrest In Stabbing

GREEN RIVER — At about 1:04 a.m. on December 4, 2016, Green River Police Officers were dispatched to a report that a juvenile male stabbed their adult brother at a residence on East Teton Boulevard and fled the scene on foot. Upon arrival, officers determined an adult male suffered a stab wound to the left side of the torso following an altercation.

Green River Police Officers conducted interviews and collected evidence for the investigation.

The subject was transported to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County by ambulance. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.

A 17-year-old male, of Green River, was arrested for aggravated assault, interference with a peace officer and minor in consumption of alcohol.
