Green River residents can spend a Wednesday at the market and a Friday night at Monsters University

GREEN RIVER – Green River residents should clear their calendars for two nights of family fun this week.

The Green River Farmer’s Market is only a few hours away for residents looking for fresh food, crafts or to just get a break from the daily grind.

Green River’s Farmer’s Market will be every Wednesday, starting tonight, and will run through the end of September. In will be open from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be located on Uinta Drive near Flaming Gorge Harley Davidson.

A list of this year’s vendors include: Craft 4 Fun, Dick’s Place, Earthwise Herbal, Fort Ridge Meats, LLC, Froggy Crafts, Green River URA, Jars of Sunshine, Kathy Johnson Crafts, Paintings by Angi, R&B Meats & Catering, Styria Bakery,Sweetwater County Library Systames,  Sweetwater Veterinary Services, Terry Lee Unique Jewelry, The Daily Knead, The Honey Girl and The Snak Shak

On Friday, families can spend the night with Mike Wazowski and Sulley at the second Movies In the Park night. Bring a chair, blanket and loved ones to Centennial Park to watch Monsters University. The movie will begin at 9 p.m.

Earlier this year in June, the Green River Parks and Recreation welcomed many residents to watch Frozen. The last movie of the year will be on Aug. 8 as Hotel Transylvania will provide fun and entertainment for the entire family.
