GUILTY: Jury Delivers Verdict In Fairbourn Trial

GREEN RIVER — The jury has convicted Bradley Ross Fairbourn of the early morning murder of 29-year-old Naisha Rae Story and the attempted murder of Linda Mara Natlia Arce which allegedly occurred on June 23, 2016, at the Quality Inn in Rock Springs.

Fairbourn denied the killing and attempted murder despite convincing DNA evidence and the victim’s phone being recovered from Fairbourn’s person by the first officer on the scene.

His legal team and the state had agreed that lesser included charges of second-degree murder and attempted second-degree murder or manslaughter would not be given to the jury as options.

Fairbourn could be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole or life imprisonment, and a fine of up to $10,000 for the first-degree murder charge.

A pre-sentencing investigation will take place before Fairbourn is sentenced, a process that takes about 60 days.
