I have been going to Rock Springs High School for 3 years. The lunches have progressively gotten worse to the point I would rather go hungry then eat what they give or rack up my bill on food that isn’t even enough to call it any more than a snack.
It doesn’t give me any energy to get through the day. It doesn’t look appetizing half the time and it their breakfast is no better.
What definitely doesn’t make sense is why they are making us (students) pay $3.30 for these small “meals.”
I understand some people will think “Well, if you don’t like what’s for lunch and if
breakfast isn’t enough then why don’t you just bring your own?”
Which is a very logical solution, but what about those kids that don’t have a choice, whether it be their parents don’t agree with it or a very low income.
Why should this be a meal for a high school student, when this is probably not even enough to feed a student at the junior high?
