The Red Desert Humane Society’s Pampurr Yourself Purse and Jewelry Auction is set for Saturday, January 27th, 2018.
This event will help to chase away the “winter blahs”. What could be better than over 200 purses and jewelry all in one room and all looking for new homes!
It is a perfect “Girls Night Out” event full of good food, good fun, good company and PURSES! So mark your calendar to attend this event at the Holiday Inn, featuring Old Chicago Catering.
Red Desert Humane Society Spokespet Gracie invites you to the 8th Annual Pampurr Yourself Purse & Jewelry Auction!
Tickets are now available at the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce, Green River Chamber of Commerce and the Red Desert Humane Society. General admission tickets are $25 or $250 to reserve a table of 10 for your group. The event has sold out in the past so those who wish to attend are encouraged to get tickets early.
Buffet Dinner & Cash Bar
There will also be a full buffet dinner and a cash bar throughout the evening.
Old Chicago catering will provide plenty of food to keep attendees going through all the activities of the evening.
Silent & Live Auctions
The silent auction kicks off at 4:30 when the doors open and will conclude at 7:00 pm. There will be two auctions, a 50/50 raffle and the “Pick of the Litter.”
The “Pick of the Litter” winner will be allowed to pull one item from the Live Auction table before the auction starts!
Purrfect Pampurr Yourself Event
This signature event is now in its eighth year and still going strong.
“We never realized how popular this event would become and how many people look forward to it every year.” Says Melinda Baas, Board President.
The event began with an idea a volunteer had about a fun event involving something nearly every woman owns, purses.
“I always laugh when I think back,” added Baas, “when they first suggested the idea I commented ‘who would come to a purse auction?’ and 90 people walked in the door.”
For The Animals
All proceeds from the event go to support the animals at the Red Desert Humane Society (RDHS).
The RDHS has been part of Sweetwater County for over 30 years; providing a temporary place for animals to stay while searching for their new forever home. Over 200 animals find new homes each year through the RDHS.
