Rock Springs Woman Wanted For Probation Violation Captured in Montana

GLENDIVE, MT — A Rock Springs woman wanted for probation violation was captured in northeastern Montana on February 2.

Heather Leilani Glenn, 34, pled guilty to single count of felony-grade forgery in District Court in Green River before Judge Nena James in September of 2014. She was originally charged with a total of six counts of forgery as the result of a joint bond forgery investigation conducted by the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office and the Green River Police Department, but five of the charges were dismissed.

Glenn was sentenced to a term of imprisonment of three to five years, but her sentence was suspended and five years of supervised probation was imposed.

On December 29, 2014, the Wyoming Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole, submitted an affidavit of revocation for her probation and a warrant was issued for her arrest.

County officers tracked Glenn to Glendive, Montana, where she was arrested without incident by officers of the Glendive Police Department.

Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell and Captain Brett Stokes credited Detention Deputy Marie Brown with some excellent detective work in locating Glenn.

Lowell said his agency is making arrangements with Montana officials for Glenn’s return to Sweetwater County.
