ROCK SPRINGS – Two applications for new bar and grill liquor licenses will be discussed Tuesday night at the Rock Springs City Council. There will also be a public hearing on the proposals.

The first application came from Sapporo Wyoming III, LLC., who is requesting one of the new licenses for a business located at 2441 Foothill, which is the area of the White Mountain Mall. If approved, the trade name of the business would be Sapporo Japanese Steakhouse.

After a public hearing on the request, the council will take action on the application under new business. If approved by the council, the license will become effective on April 1.

The next two requests are linked together. The first request is to transfer the retail liquor license which is currently owned by RMH Franchise Corporation and operates under the trade-name of Applebees. The transfer would move the license to 1530 Elk Street. It would also move the license from under the trade name AppleBees and place it under the new trade name North Get n Go. This leads to the third request.

The final public hearing and action comes from a request by AppleBees as they have also filed an application for one of the new bar and grill liquor licenses in the city. If the council approves these two requests, they would also be effective on April 1.
