Search Warrant Leads to Four Arrests Monday Night

ROCK SPRINGS – Several arrests were made after a search warrant was served on Donalynn Drive Monday night.

According to Rock Springs Police Chief Dwane Pacheco, on September 28, 2015 at approximately 6:15 p.m., Detectives from the Rock Springs Police Departments Street Crimes Unit, as well as Officers from the RSPD, conducted a narcotics related search warrant at the residence located at 1605 Donalynn #2 in Rock Springs.

Once on scene, contact was made with 61 year old Burl Coleman, 28 year old Sonny Coleman and 56 year old Diana Coleman, all from Rock Springs. During the search of the residence, several items of drug related paraphernalia were recovered, as well as a misdemeanor amount of a green leafy substance which was field tested and was found to be presumptive positive for Marijuana.

Burl Coleman was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana and Use of Marijuana and was transported to the Sweetwater County Jail where he was issued a summons for each offense.

Diana Coleman was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana and was transported to the Sweetwater County Jail where she was issued a summons for the offense.

Sonny Coleman was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana, as well as a City of Rock Springs Warrant for Failure to Appear on an Order to Show Cause Hearing for the original charge of Use of Cell Phone While Operating a Motor Vehicle. Sonny was transported to the Sweetwater County Jail where he was issued a summons for the possession charge.

Contact was later made with 50 year old Susan Coleman of Rock Springs, who was subsequently placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana and Use of Marijuana. Susan was also transported to the Sweetwater County Jail where she was issued a summons for each offense.
