ROCK SPRINGS – CreateaCareer.org said the winners were selected based on an evaluation of several studies and ratings of community colleges located throughout the nation. They looked at factors such as student retention rates, percentage of students who graduate or transfer to another school within three years, student-to-faculty ratios, student support, the types of programs provided and the schools’ reputation. WWCC was ranked 19th.

Western Wyoming Community College situated in Rock Springs, Wyoming, (WWCC) has an extended campus center located in Green River in Sweetwater County. The school has a strong international students segment, with many resources including a host family program.

WWCC is a member of The National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC).
