Wyoming Congressional Award Ceremony & Gala To Take Place In Cheyenne April 21-22

CHEYENNE, Wyo.- (February 23, 2018) The Wyoming Congressional Award Council (WCAC) Board of Directors today announced that sponsorships and individual tickets are available for the organization’s 2018 Wyoming Congressional Award Ceremony and Recognition Gala to be held in Cheyenne April 21-22, 2018.

Cloud Peak Energy will serve as the event’s presenting sponsor.

“We thank Cloud Peak Energy for their partnership for this year’s awards ceremony and gala. It is our hope that additional Wyoming business partners, community stakeholders, educators and the public will join us for the annual celebration,” noted WCAC Executive Director Trista Ostrom. “The awards are an opportunity to invest and support Wyoming’s youth and our next generation of leaders.”

The additional award ceremony and gala partners include the Wyoming Integrated Test Center, Cheyenne Motorsports and accounting and consulting firm MHP.

The awards weekend will kick off with a Recognition Gala & Fundraiser Saturday evening at Little America Hotel & Resort. Sponsors, Congressional Award Medalists, families and guests will enjoy dinner and dancing with evening entertainment provided by Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band.

The weekend wraps up at 11:00 a.m. Sunday morning with the annual Wyoming Congressional Award Ceremony at the Cheyenne Civic Center. Wyoming’s U.S. Senators Mike Enzi and John Barrasso, M.D., and U.S. House Representative Liz Cheney are scheduled to attend and present awards.
