Rocky Mountain Bank made a very generous donation of $1,000 to Kari’s Access Awards to assist the organization in their mission to help local students.
The Wine & Beer Tasting Event will take place from 6-pm-to-9-pm on January 16 at the Holiday Inn Ball Room.
Tickets can be purchased from the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce, Marty’s Gastro Pub, Johnny Macs, Kari’s Access committee members or through the Sweetwater One Public School Foundation.
ABOUT KARl’S ACCESS AWARDS
Kari’s AccessAwards is an endowment fund started in 2006 in memory of Kari (Kay)Â Fusselman, who was a student at Westridge Elementary, White Mountain Junior High, and Rock Springs High School.
Through their philanthropy, Kari’s AccessAwards has been able to help over 250 local students with awards totaling more than $47,000.
The fund gives School District #1 students access to non-traditional scholarships. These scholarships allow students to participate in outside programs enhancing learning and personal growth beyond their daily school activities. Students must meet the requirements of the program based on attendance, grades, and need.
