16th Annual Lighted Holiday Parade will happen on Saturday, December 7th at 5:30 p.m.

ROCK SPRINGS – The Annual Lighted Holiday Parade will still take place on Saturday, December 7th at 5:30 p.m. The parade will follow the festivities of Christmas in the Park that will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will end at 5:00 p.m. and the Mayor’s Tree Lighting at Bank Court at 5:00 p.m.

The weather forecast is calling for cold temperatures, so please make sure that you are dressed very warmly. There will be cookies and hot chocolate available at the Historical Museum on Broadway, hot chocolate at the U.R.A. on South Main, and hot chocolate and hot apple cider in front of 1st Bank on North Front Street. All of these locations will be able to warm up everybody.

As well as toasty warm drinks, children and families will be able to pick up bags of candy that day. They will be available at Christmas in the Park, at the Historical Museum, at the U.R.A. and in front of 1st Bank.

Immediately following the parade, Santa will be at the Broadway Theater to hand out even more cheer and candy to attendees.

The Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce and City of Rock Springs are very excited about the 16th Annual Lighted Parade as well as Christmas in the Park and the Mayor’s Tree Lighting. These events have become tradition in the City of Rock Springs and really kick off the Holiday Season.

Once again, the weather forecast is calling for cold temperatures so please make sure that everyone in your family will stay safe and warm by wearing appropriate winter clothing.
