Adopt-A-Tree program will begin November 1

ROCK SPRINGS – Lighting up Dewar Drive and Elk Street the Adopt-A-Tree program will begin November 1st. Trees will be marked with stakes and community members are invited to decorate their trees with lights. The annual event is a great way to light up the streets and bring about Holiday Cheer.

Forms and tree reservations can be made at the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce starting November 1st. Trees are on a first come, first serve basis and may only be reserved in person.

Cost will be $30.

A sign no larger than 36 x 24 inches may be placed in front of the tree, but cannot be attached in any way. It cannot be more than 18 inches from the trunk of the tree to avoid underground gas and water lines. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. ANY SIGNS NOT FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES WILL BE REMOVED.

Trees must be decorated by December 6th for the Lighted Holiday Parade.

Memorial Signs may be placed free of charge in an area next to the Chamber Parking Lot.

This year there will be a contest for the best decorated tree. First, Second and Third place awards will be given out. If you or your business is interested in donating a prize for the winner please contact the Chamber. 362-3771
