ROCK SPRINGS – For many residents, summer is the time for  swimming lessons. Mark your calendar as another chance to register for lessons this summer is coming up quickly.

On June 30 through July 6, residents have the opportunity to register for lessons at the Rock Springs Civic Center which will run July 7 through July 24. There are three more registrations left. The week of July 28, residents can register for lessons which run Aug. 4 through Aug. 21. The week of Sept. 1, residents can register for lessons which run Sept. 8 through Sept. 25 and the final chance is the week of Sept. 29 for lessons Oct. 6 through Oct. 23.

The Rock Springs Civic Center instructors follow guidelines established by the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program. The center offers lessons year round with convenient after school times. Lessons require a current membership to participate.

Civic Center Swimming Lessons

Monday through Thursday

Level 4-6 – 10 am. to 10:45 a.m.

Level 1-3 – 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.

Levels 1-4 – 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday

Parent and Child Aquatics – 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Preschool Aquatics – 11:30 a.m. to Noon.
