Antonia (Toni) Martinez (July 18, 1931, –  December 4, 2020)

Antonia (Toni) Martinez, of Rawlins, Wyoming, unexpectedly passed away, on December 4, 2020, at Memorial Hospital of Carbon County after her battle with COVID-19, at the age of 89.

Her hobbies included crafts, and embroidery and beading. She enjoyed spending time at the casino with her family and friends. She loved growing plants. She also enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing with family. She was a very giving person. She will always be remembered as a very strong and independent woman.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her children, daughter Florinda (Rosie) and husband Fred Abeyta of Medford Oregon, daughter Gloria and husband Raymond Gonzales of Rock Springs, Wyoming, son Tommy and wife Debbie Martinez of Rawlins, Wyoming, son Johnny Martinez and Gina Sanchez of Rock Springs, Wyoming.

Grandchildren: Michelle and Lou Depoyster, Juanita and Felipe Ramos, Trinity Abeyta, Patrick Gonzales, April Williams-Sisneros, Freddie Sisneros, Trista Sheets, Marie and Mylon Boronat, Katrina Martinez, Brianna Sanchez.

Great-grandchildren: Ariel and Marco Hinojos, Bernadette Ramos, Dominic Ramos, Jerry Depoyster, Joseph Depoyster, Jedidiah Depoyster, Jude Depoyster, Joshua Depoyster, Avery Abeyta, DeKayla Williams, Orion Williams, Coda Martinez, Greycen Sheets, Brennan Sheets. She was preceded in death by her husband Eufracio Martinez, her parents Eufemia and Jose Iza Martinez, her daughters, June Martinez, Lillian Arguello, her son Leroy Martinez, her grandsons, Joshua Martinez, Federico Abeyta, Travis Sisneros, her granddaughters, Jennifer Gonzales, and Lisa Gifford.

Services will be in Rawlins at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on December 15, 2020.
