ROCK SPRINGS — In a recent proclamation, Mayor Carl Demshar designated Saturday, May 31, 2014 as Arbor Day in the City of Rock Springs.  All citizens are urged to celebrate and to support efforts to protect our trees and woodland areas to promote the well being of this and future generations.  At 10 a.m. that day a tree planting event will take place at the site of the new arboretum near the White Mountain Golf Course.  The public is invited to attend.
