ROCK SPRINGS — Barbara “Bonnie” Jean Webb, 65, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family.  A long time resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Mrs. Webb endured a two year battle with cancer.

She was born on August 7, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of Sammie and Bobbi Lee Hollis Gaines.  In 1975 she moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming where she met the love of her life and she married Earl Webb Jr. on April 19, 1979.

Mrs. Webb cherished her family, friends and her dog Leo.  She would say she loved hard! She loved helping others any way that she could.  Her favorite pastime was watching sporting events at the local sports bar.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-five years Earl Webb Jr. of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one daughter Monica Wright-Fleming of Evansville, Indiana; three sons Darrell Gaines and Claude Phillips both of Memphis, Tennessee and Orlando Webb of Rock Springs, Wyoming; four sisters Janis Gaines, Donna Lundy, and Hazel Adams all  of Memphis,Tennessee and Sami Gaines of Maryland; three grandchildrenSkylar Ruff, Utah Malone, and Lisa Gaines; sisters-in-law Regina Webb, Peggy Webb and Tina Newman all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; brother-in-law Kevin Webb of Rock Springs, Wyoming; one niece Chandra House of Salt Lake City, Utah; three nephews Eric, Aaron and Terrance Webb all of Rock Springs, Wyoming; her father-in-law Earl Webb Sr. and a host of many other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents  Sammie and Bobbi Lee Hollis Gaines and one brother Wendall House; mother-in-law Blanche Webb.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the New Hope Baptist Church, 513 “G” Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to services.
