RAWLINS — The Bureau of Land Management Rawlins Field Office has released an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Grace Point Sub-Area POD A. The release of the EA also begins a public comment period which will close on August 26, 2016.
The Environmental Assessment is available for review at online.
The EA analyzes eight coal-bed methane natural gas well pads, access roads, pipelines, utility corridors and one produced water injection well, proposed by Warren E & P Inc., approximately 30 miles northeast of Baggs, Wyoming, in Carbon County. The wells would be located in the Spyglass Hill Federal Unit in the Atlantic Rim Natural gas project area.
The EA is tiered to the 2007 Atlantic Rim Natural Gas Development Project Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision, and is available for review online.
Written comments will be accepted until August 26, 2016, and should be emailed to BLM_WY_AtlanticRim@blm.gov. To ensure comments are considered please include “Grace Point Comment” in the subject line.
