KEMMERER —The Bureau of Land Management will begin replacing the Smithsfork Bridge on BLM Road #4213, locally known as Dry Fork Road, on June 6. The bridge is scheduled to be removed on June 13 and the bridge will be closed to all traffic effective that date.
Dry Fork Road provides the main route to the upper Smithsfork River watershed, and while the bridge is under construction there is no alternative BLM access across the river. The project will continue throughout the summer with completion no later than September 19, 2022.
