SWEETWATER COUNTY — According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office the body of the victim of yesterday’s accident on the Flaming Gorge has been recovered by the Sweetwater County Dive Team. The Sweetwater County Coroner is on scene and more information is expected to be released today including the identity of the victim.

Agencies on scene for the recovery operation include, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, Sweetwater Dive Team, Green River Fire Department Ice Rescue Team and Sweetwater County Emergency Management.

SWEETWATER COUNTY — According to the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office the Combined Dispatch Center received a report around 2:00 pm of a fisherman who reportedly had fallen through the ice near Lost Dog on the Flaming Gorge.

First responders are working the scene. Officials are not releasing any information concerning the identity, age or gender of the victim.

Sweetwater County Dive Team will be commencing dive operations tomorrow morning.
