She is survived by one daughter, Jan Erickson; and one brother Douglas Geiger and wife Barbara of Longmont, Colorado.

Cheryl enjoyed reading, baking, gardening, decorating her home for every holiday, walking Expedition Island with friend and former co-worker Linda Gamble, and visiting and laughing with friends. Her laugh was infectious and her baked goods (which she enjoyed giving freely) were always delectable.

A celebration of her life is planned for September 24 at the Pavilion on Expedition Island in Green River, beginning at 6 p.m. She touched the lives of so many throughout her years as a resident of Green River and an elementary school teacher. Please join us in remembering her. All are welcome.
