Job Summary

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading continuous reliability improvement efforts for equipment and systems by providing technical guidance and support to Engineering, Maintenance and Operations.

Responsibilities

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for leading continuous reliability improvement efforts for equipment and systems by providing technical guidance and support to Engineering, Maintenance and Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Optimizing and improving reliability of machines systems, increasing the installation standards, and reducing life cycle costs.
  • Establishing and maintaining process for continuous improvement and efficiency in the unit cost, and reliable operation of the manufacturing plant through application of reliability based tools.
  • Functioning as a liaison between the Mine and Surface Operations to communicate and champion reliability best practice and develop reliability based cultures.
  • Implementing long-term strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution of maintenance activities, maintenance standards, reliability, equipment integrity and preventative/predictive maintenance programs.
  • Diagnosing mechanical reliability problems and providing solutions that solve and eliminate failures.
  • Conducting failure analysis/ root cause failure analysis (RCFA).

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in engineering or equivalent.
  • 7 years’ experience in Maintenance/Equipment Reliability Experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication skills & ability to effectively communication through all levels of the organization.
  • PdM Technology knowledge.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and Oracle PM Module.
  • A detailed knowledge of CINER, specifically CINER, Green River, People, Systems and Functions and Process Equipment preferred.
  • A person who believes in measured results and but can also allow flexibility, innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • Problem solver, able to make correct best balance decisions with potential problems identified and contingency actions in place.

Preferred Qualifications

CMRP Certification/CRP Certification – PdM Technology certification
