City of Green River to Restrict Traffic on Underpass Tomorrow Morning

GREEN RIVER — The City of Green River will have one lane traffic Thursday morning at the Union Pacific underpass to allow city crews to clean up tumble weeds following the Tuesday wind and snow event.

Due to windy conditions, several hundred tumble weeds collected on the north side of the underpass.

Crews will turn the two-lane road into a one lane road beginning at 10:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Flaggers will be placed on both sides of the underpass to direct traffic. The westbound lane on Second South Street will be closed through the underpass. Expect delays for about two hours.
