The Civic Center’s Concerts in the Park

This summer come out and enjoy the free concerts at Bunning Park located off of Elk St. on Evans Dr. The Civic Center has several exciting bands performing for the Concerts in the Park series this summer. Each concert begins at 7 pm.

If make sure you don’t miss any of these next concerts. Here are the dates and bands that will be playing tonight and in the first half of July.

  • June 30 – Hottelights
    • These guys just performed at the Battle of the Bands during Flaming Gorge Days so their music has got to be fresh on your mind. No doubt you want to hear more of their rock music so be at Bunning Park tonight.
  • July 1 – The Southern Soul Allstars
    • They play classic Rock from the 70’s and 80’s to the best of the Blues, Motown, Soul and Country. Their lead singer has been called one of today’s best vocalists and has a group of talented musicians. Fans say their performances should not be missed!
  • July 2 – I80
    • Originally formed in 2009 by husband/wife duo Mike and Lavern Bernal. Mikes guitar and vocals, along with Lavern’s strong vocal ability and presence has proven to be the heart and soul of what drives I80. They play a variety of music.
  • July 9 – B#s
    • They are a local band and have even been described as Sweetwater’s good time party band. Come out for the free good time. They play classic rock.
  • July 14 – Ian McFeron
    • A prolific songwriter whose lyrical prose and fervent work ethic has drawn comparison to Bob Dylan and Ryan Adams. Ian McFeron has released a steady stream of albums. He plays a variety of music and is someone you don’t want to pass up hearing.
  • July 15 – Jared Rogerson
    • His country music draws from the 17 years he spent in the rodeo circuit, along with thousands of miles atop horses in the Mountans. His respect for both the tame and unruly are underlined in his lyrics depicting modern themes of love, heartbreak, determination, and defiance from the optimistic perspective of an ever changing West.
