Clifford “Dutch” Clark (August 30, 1923 – May 31, 2015)

ROCK SPRINGS – Clifford “Dutch” Clark, 91, of Rock Springs, Wyoming passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County.  A life long resident of Rock Springs, Wyoming, Mr. Clark died following a sudden illness.

He was born on August 30, 1923 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the son of the late Clifford Clark Sr. and Ella Lassila Clark.

Mr. Clark attended and graduated from the Rock Springs High School.

He married Annalee  Pennington in Rock Springs, Wyoming on May 26, 1946 and she preceded him in death on August 26, 2005.

Mr. Clark was employed with Mountain Fuel for over thirty years and retired as a Field Forman at Vermillion Basin in 1983.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church.

His interests were fishing, hunting, roping and helping friends round-up their cattle.  He was a true cowboy.

Survivors include two sons Troy Clark and wife Lynn of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Travis Clark and wife Fern of Ryan Park, Wyoming.  His sons were so thankful that he chose them to be his sons.  They could have never chosen a better father.
Three grandchildren Ashley Clark, Amy Clark and Ty Clark; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Annalee.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Vase Funeral Chapel, 154 Elk Street, Rock Springs, Wyoming.  Military Honors and Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.  Friends may call at the Vase Chapel on  Thursday one hour prior to services.
