ROCK SPRINGS — First time winner of the PRCA Bucking Bull of the Year is Summit Pro Rodeo’s bull Cross the Line. Cross the Line currently has a 95.83% buck off rate and will have riders holding on Saturday night October 25 at 7:30 pm at the Mountain States Circuit Finals Rodeo.
Cross the Line is just one of the many top quality rough stock animals that Summit Pro Rodeo owners JD Hamaker and Jesse Hill will be taking to Las Vegas for the National Finals Rodeo. In addition to Summit Pro Rodeo the Mountain States Circuit Finals will feature stock from Burns Rodeo Company, Burch Rodeo, Powder River Rodeo and more. The stock at the event is hand selected and absolutely top notch.
The Mountain States Circuit Finals will feature 96 competitors nightly in the Indoor Arena. The arena allows spectators to sit within feet of the extreme action and gives them the true feel of “Rodeo so close you’ll be tasting dirt too.” Events will include twelve competitors nightly in the following: bareback riding, saddle bronc ridings, bull ridings, barrel racing, tie down roping, steer wrestling and team roping.
Mountain States contestants include the following National Finals Rodeo Champions and Contenders: Seth Glause, Jhett Johnson, Bobby Welsch, Jason Miller, Josh Peek, Casey Colletti, Tyler Willis, Kelly Yates and Christy Loflin.
