LARAMIE  – The Cowgirl tennis team wrapped up the regular conference season with a dominate 7-0 win over rival Colorado State, on Saturday afternoon in Ft. Collins. UW is now 10-7 overall and 4-1 in conference play.

“To defeat Colorado State in the fashion we did was a great way to close out the conference season,” said head coach Dean Clower. “We are very proud of the players for their commitment to the process along with their toughness and resiliency they’ve shown all year long. From top to bottom, this team has stuck with it and the results started to show during MW play. The victory for Alma was huge as she has the heart of a champion along with the other players. They will get a well-deserved day off tomorrow and set our eyes on the conference tournament.”
