Cynthia Diane Harsha, 67, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021, at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County in Rock Springs, Wyoming. She died following a lengthy battle with COVID. She was a longtime resident of Green River and former resident of Pennsylvania.
She was born on April 7, 1954, in Windber, Pennsylvania; the daughter of Lawrence Snyder and Donna Mae Makin.
Mrs. Harsha attended schools in Pennsylvania. She earned her General Education Degree
She married Gene Edwin Harsha on August 14, 1993, in Green River, Wyoming.
Mrs. Harsha worked for Sweetwater County School District No. 2 for 27 years having retired in June 2021 as a para for disabled children.
She enjoyed spending time with family especially her grandchildren, fishing, hunting, and coloring in her coloring books.
Survivors include her husband, Gene Edwin Harsha of Green River, Wyoming; five sons, Jacob Myers of Golden Valley, Arizona, Joshua Myers of Green River, Wyoming, Jeffrey Mills and wife Angela of Rock Springs, Wyoming, John Mills of Cortez, Colorado, Robert Berg and wife April of Green River, Wyoming; five sisters, Pam Shank and husband Doug of Texas, Brenda Mazack and husband Dan of Michigan, Jan Kask and husband Ron of St. George, Utah, Kelly Worden and husband Harlan of Green River, Wyoming, Marilyn Snyder of Green River, Wyoming; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Snyder and wife Donna Mae Snyder; one grandson; Kordelle Myers who died in infancy.
Cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be conducted from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, October 14, 2021, at Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #2350, 88 N 2nd East Street, Green River, Wyoming.
