ROCK SPRINGS — Rock Springs native David Radakovich has announced his candidacy for Mayor in the 2022 election.

Radakovich released the following statement this week:

“As a Rock Springs native, I have watched our town grow and change. I feel a responsibility to our great town and that is why I am announcing that I am running for Mayor. After college I obtained a position at an oilfield company that started on D Street and is now a national company.

I worked in many facets of that company and other jobs in our area which gave me a great business background to get Rock Springs through troubling times.

My wife and I have two boys we raised here in Rock Springs, two wonderful daughters- in-law, and two beautiful and smart granddaughters who live and work in Rock Springs. As mayor I want to make their lives safe and enjoyable and make everyone living in Rock Springs feel secure about their future and find the enjoyment of living in our area.

I am proud to run for mayor of this great town and I appreciate your support.”
