ROCK SPRINGS – Throughout life, those who mean the most to us, our idols, the ones we love the most, our teachers and mentors are lost. While in most cases we have time to prepare, it is the unexpected ones that seem to hurt the most.

For one young local family, they now have to deal with this realization after being left without a father and a husband this past week. On Sept. 15, the untimely passing of 35-year-old Andy Joe Carrillo at the University of Utah Medical Center has left several people to try to pick up the pieces.

Carrillo’s wife Christina and their three young children, William Cordova and daughters Letta and Zoey Carrillo, who are all under the age of 12, are trying to now move forward emotionally and now financially. Andy’s passing has left the young family trying to make ends meet and now have added unexpected medical and other expenses.

Several charitable individuals, along with the Saddle Lite Saloon, has taken up this cause. Tonight, Monday Sept. 22 at 6 p.m. at the Saddle Lite Saloon, there will be a spaghetti dinner and silent auction to help put this family back on their feet. The spaghetti dinner will be $5 a plate.

For those who would like to help, join the friends and family of Andy at the Saddle Lite tonight at 6 p.m. There has also been an account set up at a local bank and as soon as we get that information we will pass it along to the community.
