Don’t miss the first Tiger Town Bash today at the Downtown Farmer’s Market from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

ROCK SPRINGS – For a week now, there has been a tiger on the loose in downtown Rock Springs. Today in the day to finally catch the Tiger.

The first Tiger Town Bash will take place at the downtown Rock Springs Farmer’s Market on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Rock Springs Urban Renewal Agency/Main Street Director Chad Banks said it gives residents a chance to show Tiger pride and support the local students at the Rock Springs High School as they prepare for another school year.

The Tiger Town Bash will feature performances by the Tiger Rhythm Dance Team, the RSHS Marching Band, the RSHS Cheerleaders and more. Wear your orange and black and come support the Tigers.

Along with all the fun provided by the students at RSHS, many of your favorite vendors will also be at the market today.

Mrs. D’s Music Keys posted she will be back at the farmers market/tiger bash tonight. Stop by Mrs. D’s to see her special Tiger designs while you get information on classes and other activities.

There will be Oreo truffles, chocolate chip cookies, butterscotch white chocolate cookies, chocolate covered strawberries and sugar cookies.

The Young at Heart Senior Center will have their amazing freshly baked goods at the Downtown Farmer’s Market. This is the last week they will be there selling a wide range of yummy treats.

Sweet & Savory Creations will have locally baked breads and goodies at the market. They posted they will be selling a variety of my regular breads as well as some new ones. Also, they will have beer bread, dill bread, roasted garlic, Garlic cheese twists, baguettes, cinnamon raisin, cinnamon (no raisins), cherry almond and roasted red pepper cheddar. She will also have the usual jalapeño pepper jack as well as a few loaves of bacon jalapeno bread. In addition, Sweet and Savory Creations will also have a few loaves of rye, cupcakes and possibly cakepops.

Along with all  the fresh baked goods, the market will have Wyoming honey, fire-roasted chilies, fresh smoked salmon, bunches of fresh produce, all sorts of RSHS Tiger items, homemade Mexican food, crafts and more.
