CJ Simmons goal is to pick up fans one by one at their shows while making the best possible music and having a good time doing it. The have been on tour for most of 2014 which recently included a week at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar in Las Vegas. They have also had shows at the Hard Rock and the House of Blues in Vegas. The duo also did two overseas tours in support of the US Military in Iraq, Serbia, Kosovo and Bosnia.

Over the past years CJ Simmons has performed with Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith and Jason Aldean to name a few along with many others including Country Music Icons George Jones, Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn.

Oklahoma born Christian and Texas born Jessica met in Los Angeles while beginning their careers. He was acting in various commercials and television shows. She was working in the fashion industry while signed to a California Indie record label. Their love story and musical journey blossomed into a successful partnership and musical following that has produced two successful self- released albums in addition to composing and placing several songs into network TV shows, most notably the theme song for the Daytime Emmy Awards, and, most recently, one of their songs was featured in an episode of the CW Network hit show “Hart Of Dixie.”

Christian’s musical influences were rooted originally in Rock. Being born and raised in small town Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, he grew up playing sports, listening to Rock-n-Roll, enjoying a typical American upbringing and searching for his calling. Family rooted and grounded he seems to have the old soul syndrome so many talented and genuine songwriters possess.

“My main influences were Bon Jovi and Garth Brooks, and that’s exactly where our music falls – somewhere in between,” he said.

Jessica or, as fans call her, “Miss Jessica” has fond memories listening to classic country music while riding around in her father’s pickup truck. Throughout her life she was exposed to a menu of many different styles of music. She tells how she and her friend would listen to anything they could, and sing along with all day long to her older cousin’s record albums by artists such as Heart and Duran Duran.

The Texas native loves Rock, Country and Pop, but the mix of music her father and cousin gave her was a wonderful inspiration and blend of musical genres.
