First RDHS Litter of 2015 Will Be Named By Local Student Saturday

SWEETWATER COUNTY — At the Red Desert Humane Society’s “Fur Ball” event last fall Dr. Bernadine Craft was the top bidder at the auction for the prize “Pick of the Litter.”

That gave her the right to name the first little of animals (kittens or puppies) that came into the Society in 2015. She generously gave the naming privilege to Adam Larson, who was her guest that evening.

Adam now has to come up with names for all eight kittens that came to RDHS from another local rescue. Adam and his mother will be at the shelter this Saturday to officially name the litter.
