The Seedskadee Chapter of Trout Unlimited has announced that they will be bringing the Fly Fishing Film Tour – F3T to Sweetwater County for the fourth year!

$20 Tickets are being sold at the Rock Springs and Green River Chambers of Commerce, through the online portal, or through local Trout Unlimited Members.

MARCH 10 – EXPEDITION ISLAND PAVILION, GREEN RIVER
DOORS OPEN @ 5PM/FILM STARTS @6PM

The Fly Fishing Film Tour will be shown in the middle of the mighty Green River on Expedition Island on Friday March 10. The doors will open at 5pm and the film will begin at 6pm. There will be raffles, games and drawings that will feature chances to win a guided float trip, artwork by Zach Even, Yeti coolers, Orvis Fly rod, fly boxes full of flies and much more. Erica from Sweet and Savory will be there to serve up some awesome grub.

The original and preeminent exhibition of fly fishing cinema, the F3T is a one of a kind experience. Each year fishy folk of all ages gather at premieres to soak up films from around the world, spin a few yarns amongst friends and dream about casts still unmade.

2017 marks The F3T’s 11th annual adventure. This year’s lineup of films is our finest yet. From Siberia to Idaho, Mexico, Florida, Kamchatka, Alaska, Montana and more, the notable characters, unique storylines and unparalleled fishing in these films will lead you on an adventure around the globe!

In addition to showcasing world-class fly fishing films, The F3T is dedicated to supporting the local fly shops and conservation groups that form the backbone of our sport’s educational and environmental efforts. Discount F3T tickets are available at more than 150 fly shops across the country. A portion of those ticket sales go directly to support fishing and habitat-related conservation groups. In 2015 we raised over $300,000 for our conservation partners and have used our voice to bring greater attention and support to groups like Trout Unlimited, Wild Steelhead Coalition, Bonefish Tarpon Trust, Utah Stream Access Coalition, Stop Pebble Mine and many more.

The Seedskadee Chapter is looking forward to another great F3T this year.  Being the 4th year, we are glad to have the continued support from outdoors men and women from Sweetwater County and southwest Wyoming. This year we have some awesome prizes to raffle off. All the proceeds will go towards improving southwest Wyoming’s cold water fisheries. Come support your local fisheries and enjoy some great films to get you ready for the warmer weather fishing season.
