WYOMING — The latest WyoPreps.com Coaches and Media Football Poll has been released for Week Eight.
Entering the final week of the regular season, there are plenty of games to keep an eye on. Rock Springs jumped from fifth to third in 4A, while Mountain View and Farson-Eden remained at the top spot in 2A and six-man respectively.

4A Rankings

Rock Springs won its fourth straight game in an upset victory over Cheyenne Central. Rock Springs improved to a 5-3 record and earned the votes this week to steal the #3 spot in 4A. The Tigers will play a homecoming game this week against #1 Cheyenne East.
3A Rankings

Green River has struggled to find many victories this year. The Wolves have seen some votes throughout the year in the weekly rankings, but none this week after a 40-0 loss to Cody last Friday. Green River will close out the regular season on the road against Star Valley.

2A Rankings

Mountain View has dominated the #1 spot in 2A this year. The Buffaloes are putting together a strong case for a state title run. This Friday, Mountain View finishes the regular season schedule against #2 Lyman. The Eagles have progressively climbed the rankings throughout the year, which will make Friday night’s matchup in the valley one of the top games of the week in Wyoming high school football.
Six-Man Rankings

Farson-Eden secured a conference title last Friday against Meeteetse. The Pronghorns have controlled the #1 spot in six-man football the entire season. Farson-Eden will look to finish out the regular season undefeated as they take on Little Snake River on the road.
