ROCK SPRINGS — Some Western Wyoming Community College (Western) students and future graduates in the plant operator and instrumentation and electronics programs were already offered jobs thanks to a partnership between Western and Genesis Alkali.

On Friday, April 29, Genesis Alkali representatives met with Western instructors, students, and graduates in the plant operator and instrumentation and electronics programs to conduct interviews for the purpose of making contingent job offers.

“The programs have been a huge success and we look forward to continuing to give students from these programs opportunities. It is anticipated that all the students who successfully complete these programs, will find employment opportunities in the industry, prior to or upon completion of having received their certificates and degrees,” according to a press release from Genesis.
