Get rid of that old yarn and replace it with something new as the Community Fine Arts Center and Rock Springs Library are hosting a Knit-In and Yarn Swap on Sept. 20

ROCK SPRINGS – Have you ever found yourself looking at your sewing and knitting supplies and wondering why you bought that color of yarn in the first place? Even more importantly, how you will use it or how to get rid of it? You’re in luck as the Community Fine Arts Center and the Rock Springs Library announced an upcoming event that can help.

On Sept. 20 at the Rock Springs Library in the Ferrero Room, there will be a Knit in and Yarn Swap from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are invited to bring the yarn they no longer love or have a purpose for and swap it for something you can use. Bag your yarn in clear bags and be ready to negotiate with other fellow yarn lovers.

Residents are also encouraged to stay and knit while enjoying some refreshments.
