SWEETWATER COUNTY — In a press release by Sweetwater County COVID-19 Emergency Response Center PIO, Jason Mower, Sweetwater County has its third positive COVID-19 case.

News came as healthcare agencies were notified Wednesday, April 1, 2020, by the Wyoming Department of Health.

“WDH has confirmed a male child living in Green River has tested positive for COVID-19. The patient remains in good condition and continues to self-isolate at home, according to Sweetwater
County Health Officer Dr. Jean Stachon,” the release said.

According to the release, the first and second patients in Green River both remain in good condition and are in self-isolation.

Health officials have identified dozens of people in the county who are voluntarily self-isolating as a precaution of their employers.
