GREEN RIVER — The case involving Green River City Councilman Allan Dean Wilson, accused of alleged Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the First Degree, will head to District Court in Lincoln County after two additional charges were added on June 20, 2018.
The additional charges include one felony count of alleged Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree and one felony count of alleged Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Third Degree, all stemming from events that allegedly occurred on or about April 29 through September 1, 2011.
Wilson faces a maximum sentence of 85 years in prison and $30,000 in fines if convicted of all three charges.
The case is set for arraignment in the 3rd Judicial District Court under Judge Joseph Bluemel at 9 am on July 16 at the Lincoln County Courthouse in Kemmerer.
Wilson faces another charge of alleged Sexual Abuse of a Minor in the Second Degree in Sweetwater County, which was also bound over to District Court. Both cases reference the same victim.
According to court documents, the incident was originally reported in Sweetwater County, but the investigation revealed that alleged sexual exposures and assault occurred within the borders of Lincoln County, and it was turned over to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
According to Wilson’s Green River City Council biography, he worked for Green River Parks & Recreation for 34 years before being elected to city council in 2014.
