GREEN RIVER – Administrative operations will not be available to the public Monday September 22nd and Tuesday September 23rd while the Police Department’s computer systems and document centers are assembled at the new facility.
Regular patrol officers’ activities will continue as per usual and the PD phone lines will be switched to the Dispatch Center. Green River Police Department requests your patience during the move and will resume full administrative services to the public as soon as possible. For the first few days of next week the following services will not be available during the move:
Accident, Theft or Incident reports; fingerprints; VIN checks walk-in’s.
Municipal Court will be making the move later in the week and advises that they will not be available to process citations on Thursday, September 25th and Friday, September 26th due to their move to the new building as well.
Information as to the exact date that both the Green River Police Department and Municipal Court will begin working out of their new location will be determined and forthcoming.
Police officers will be on duty next week and can be reached via the Dispatch Center at 307-875–1400. Chief Steffen explained; “If you need Police assistance pick up a phone, we’ll come to you.”
