After years of decreasing personnel on the SWAT team due to retirements, manpower shortages, and lack of interest, recent hirings have brought to the team to nine members. With this increase, there is a need for new equipment to ensure these new members can effectively perform their duties.

There is currently $38,789.16 in the Asset Seizure Fund. If approved, the $21,428.61 for the new equipment will come out of this fund.
