GREEN RIVER — According to the Green River Fire Department, on April 3, 2014 Questar Gas will be performing some maintenance work on 2 of their gas stations in Green River. There is a possibility that some Mercaptan, the chemical that is added to natural gas to make it smell like rotten eggs could be released.

There will be no danger from this work being done and Questar will have some extra people in the area to handle any concerns from the citizens.
