Green River High School Athlete of the week by Great Divide Chemical

Kaisa Arnell was nominated by cross country coach Mr. Steve Boyd. Coach Boyd said, “Kaisa has been a great addition to the cross country team this season. As a freshman, she has been our number two varsity runner for most of the season. Much of her success has been the result of her hard work ethic and a commitment to running over the summer.”

Green River High School Athlete of the week by Great Divide Chemical

Tanner Adam was nominated by cross country coach Mr. Steve Boyd. Coach Boyd said, “Tanner has a great work ethic and attitude. He always gives his best effort in practice and competes hard at the meets. As a freshman, he has been one of our top four varsity runners all season and has the potential to be a very good runner in the future.”

Student of the Week

Green River High School Student of the week by Great Divide Chemical

Taylor Dobyns was nominated by Algebra 1 teacher Mrs. Penny Kern as Student of the Week. Mrs. Kern said, “Taylor works hard in her Algebra 1 class.  She is great about showing her work and checking her answers to make sure she has reasonable and accurate answers.  She is helpful to her classmates and actively participates in class.”

 

Wolf of the Week

Green River High School Student of the week by Great Divide Chemical

Kaleb Knavel was nominated by Algebra 1 teacher Mr. Kris Weidner as Wolf of the Week. Mr. Weidner said, “It’s been a pleasure to have Kaleb in class. He’s organized, respectful and a very hard worker. He has demonstrated keen insight in his problem solving and is able to communicate his reasoning to others in the class during class discussions. Kaleb works well with his partner in class, demonstrating patience and an ability to teach and explain how and why he solves problem.”
