These ladies are currently students in my government class.  Both girls come to class daily with a strong desire to learn and a willingness to work hard. They pay attention to the details of their coursework and put in the extra time needed to master the material.  These two girls have a bright future beyond Green River High School and are a pleasure to have in class.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The custodial staff would like to nominate Eli Thomas for Wolf of the Week. Eli volunteered to help shovel the snow so it could get done faster because it was so cold.

Katherine Skinner

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Dance would like to nominate Katherine Skinner.  Katherine is a senior dancer on the Wolf Pack Dance Team.  She demonstrated exemplary leadership skills and organization during our 2019 Kids Dance Camp. She has also been an integral part of choreographing and teaching our state hip hop routine. She shows confidence and patience with her teammates. She is a steady leader that always shines with positive enthusiasm. Thanks for being such an asset to our dance team.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]I would also like to nominate Ashelynn Birch for her game against Riverton. She played very well on the defensive end of the floor. She also recorded a double double with 15 rebounds and 20 points in the contest.

Megan Counts

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]I would like to nominate Megan Counts for her great weekend of basketball against Riverton and Cody. Megan averaged 20 pts per game and has really stepped up her play the last few weeks.

Matthew Seymour/ Kyle Ivie

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Boys basketball would like to nominate Matthew Seymour and Kyle Ivie for Wolf of
the Week. Matthew led all scorers in Saturday’s win against Cody with 17 points. His phenomenal defensive effort sparked the offense. He had 3 steals and 2 deflections. All three steals resulted in assists to teammates for layups. His hard work and determination played a huge role in the outcome of the game. Kyle led all players on the court with 7 assists in the game against Cody on Saturday. He was a huge spark on defense with 3 steals and 4 deflections. His hard work on defense and his ability to find an open teammate on offense played a huge role in the success of the GR Wolves this weekend.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Shawn Arellano had his best week of basketball against Riverton and Cody scoring 2 and 12 points. Shawn sparked his team, driving to the basket and dominated on defense with his quickness and speed. Shawn has a great attitude and works hard.

Austin Fox

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Austin Fox scored 17 points in the win over Riverton and 16 against Cody this week as well as leading his team in rebounding. Austin played great defense and is a positive leader and teammate for the freshman Wolves basketball team. Austin is a great communicator on the floor and has a great attitude.
