Hayley Hernandez

Hayley Hernandez comes to class every day with a positive attitude and love of learning. She is also such an amazing part of our school being involved in student council and playing sports as well. She went above and beyond helping a new student this last month and she amazes me all of the time.

Sierra Nomis

Sierra Nomis is always the first person to offer to help in any situation. She stands up for what is right and shows her outstanding morals and values daily in my class. I can’t wait to see where Sierra goes in life.

Tyler Killett/ Hunter Byrd

They are always so friendly to everyone. They always help me out no matter what. They have both help out at breakfast and lunch on making sure their classmates
keep the area clean! These boys are just splendid!

Shady Marion

Shady is always on top of things in class and completely willing to help others in anything they need.¬† As an advanced Computer Graphics student, she is sort of a technology monitor in the classroom.¬† Shady helps fix printer jams and shows others how to setup print settings when they’re stuck. Her artwork is always exceptional as well. Shady makes beautiful calendars from her own photos and is a whiz in Photoshop!¬† She’s also so delightful and respectful in class and ALWAYS turns her work in on time.¬† I am so lucky to have Shady in class!

Kayleigh Schuh

Kayleigh goes above and beyond in all of her projects.¬† She’s a master of making beautiful and meaningful sculptures in class.¬† She will go far in anything that she does simply based on her attention to detail, ideas, and craftsmanship.¬† The art room and the world are both a more beautiful place with Kayleigh in it!

Mary Harris

Mary has setup and ran the Make a wish Art auction this year and has done a great job. Mary has also made some incredible advancements in her pottery making skill and has made over 50 pots this year.

Jose Sanchez

Jose has become the pottery room helper. He has refinished tables made new tools and helped everyone who has needed it. Jose has also dedicated himself to making fictional ceramics that are incredibly well crafted.

Olivia Nielsen

Olivia has worked tirelessly to improve her painting skills. Her focus and attention to detail coupled with her incredible work ethic has made her one of my top painting students.

Sadie Casper/ Mykenna Coursey
Ryan Deutsch/ Kenra Kempton/ Zander Swett

I would like to nominate Sadie Casper, Mykenna Coursey, Ryan Deutsch, Kenra Kempton, and Zander Swett for Wolf (Wolves) of the Week.¬† During our ski trip we had a student who took a pretty serious crash. These students acted quickly and took the proper measures to make sure he got proper attention quickly.¬† And what’s more, they stayed with and helped this student¬†in a time of need.¬† It was so heartwarming to see students care and act appropriately in a dire situation.

I would like to nominate Ivan Leon, Drew Gibson, Kylee Hosford, Kendahl Coy, Sydney Ferrer, Sydnee Sanchez, Emmalee Skinner, Ashlyn Santhuff, Abby Alcorn, Kaydynce Silva, Aundra Drinkle, Hayley Hernandez, Hayley Martinez,Landon Sheffield, Jordan Buggy, Derica Wingard, Adisen Hansen, Hailey Finstad, and Robyn Jauregui for their commitment to the “I Bleed Green” blood drive and Make-A-Wish 2019. These students attended and supported most if not all of the events, even if they were not on the committees. Our success goes to these students who went over and beyond what was expected. It with honor that I have to opportunity to work with such a great group of students.

Hannah Thomas

I¬†would like to nominate Hannah Thomas for WOW.¬† She has been awarded the UW Trustee’s Scholarship.¬† This is a highly competitive¬†scholarship and a great honor to receive¬†it.
