ROCK SPRINGS – Walk slowly and keep your eyes open wide because the Rock Springs High School Drama students want to scare the Halloween out of residents.
For the second year, the group will host a scare walk through the high school theater. This year’s theme is Alice in Wonderland with a twist. Drama teacher Beth Martin explained it as Alice in Wonderland with a little more rotting and dead Alices.
Residents can join Alice in the rabbit hole on Oct. 24 through Oct. 26. The trip starts in the lobby of the Theater where people can purchase tickets. The proceeds raised will go to support the RSHS Drama Department. Martin said the money will go to help the students pay for a trip to Ogden, Utah, in January to attend a drama conference. It will also go to purchase makeup for plays.
The hours of the haunted house vary a bit from day to day. On Oct. 24, the haunted house will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. On Oct. 25 residents can get their scare on from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Oct. 26 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Again, tickets can be purchased in the lobby of the theater. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12 years of age.
Also, on Friday night there will be a Halloween Carnival in the main hallway.
Martin said if people request a more kid friendly scare they also have that available. It is also handicap accessible for residents.
