GREEN RIVER — Kids throughout the community enjoyed the beautiful weather on Tuesday with a story time and foam party in the park.

Each Tuesday throughout the summer, the Sweetwater County Library is hosting a story time and foam party event at different parks throughout Green River. This Tuesday, they hosted the event at the Clock Tower outside Green River City Hall.

The festivities were kicked off with story time, in which Sweetwater County Library employee Tiffany Kennah read some great books including “Those Are Not My Underpants” by Sharlene Martin.

Following the story time, the foam machine was fired up for a 30 minute foam party. There was also sidewalk chalk for kids to create drawings on the pathways and a scavenger hunt.

The story time and foam party are taking place each Tuesday throughout the summer at mystery parks. To find out which park the event will be taking place each week, check out the Sweetwater County Library System’s  Facebook page every Monday morning.
